Sliding door roller replacement
Rollers are the small wheels at the bottom of the panel that carry all the weight of the glass. In Florida they wear out faster: sand gets into the track, humidity rusts the bearings, and newer impact glass is much heavier. When they go flat or seize, the door drags on metal. New rollers make the door feel new again.
Signs you need this
- The door got heavier to push over time
- You hear grinding or feel bumps as it slides
- The bottom of the panel scrapes the track
- You see rust or broken plastic wheels under the door
What we do on the visit
- Remove the panel and pull the old rollers
- Match the right replacement for your door's brand and size
- Install steel or stainless rollers and adjust the height
- Clean the track so the new rollers last

How a repair goes
Send a photo or call
WhatsApp a photo or video of the door, or call. We'll ask a few questions and give you an idea of what's going on.
Free estimate at your home
The technician measures, checks the rollers, track and glass, and gives you the exact price before touching anything.
Repair, usually the same visit
Our van carries common rollers, locks and hardware, so most door repairs are finished on the first trip. Glass is ordered to size.
Questions we get a lot
How long do new rollers last?
With a clean track, years. Stainless steel rollers hold up best near the coast and around pools.
Can I just spray lubricant on the track?
Please don't use oil or WD-40 — it collects sand and makes it worse. A dry silicone spray on a clean track is fine.
Do you replace rollers on both panels?
Only if they need it. We'll show you the old rollers so you can see their condition.
