Sliding glass door repair

A patio door that's hard to move is almost never one problem. It's usually worn rollers plus a dirty or dented track, sometimes a panel that's dropped out of adjustment. We check the whole door, tell you what's actually wrong, and fix it on the spot in most cases.

Signs you need this

  • You need two hands or your hip to open it
  • It grinds, squeaks or makes a scraping noise
  • The panel jumps off the track or wobbles
  • There's a gap at the top or bottom when it's closed
  • The lock doesn't line up with the catch anymore

What we do on the visit

  • Lift the panel out and inspect rollers, track and frame
  • Clean the track and the channel underneath
  • Replace or adjust rollers and re-level the panel
  • Line up the lock with the keeper so it closes tight
  • Test it with you before we leave

Pricing

The estimate at your home is free. Most repairs come down to rollers ($65–$89 each, depending on the model) plus labor; the technician gives you the full price before starting.

How a repair goes

  1. Send a photo or call

WhatsApp a photo or video of the door, or call. We'll ask a few questions and give you an idea of what's going on.

  2. Free estimate at your home

The technician measures, checks the rollers, track and glass, and gives you the exact price before touching anything.

  3. Repair, usually the same visit

Our van carries common rollers, locks and hardware, so most door repairs are finished on the first trip. Glass is ordered to size.

Questions we get a lot

Can you fix it the same day?

Usually, yes. The van carries the most common rollers and hardware. If your door needs a part we don't have, we order it and come back.

Is it worth repairing or should I replace the door?

Most doors are worth repairing — the frame and glass last decades; rollers and locks wear out. If replacement makes more sense, we'll tell you honestly.

Do you work on old aluminum doors?

Yes. A lot of Central Florida homes still have original aluminum sliders from the 80s and 90s, and parts are still available for most of them.

Tell us what's wrong with the door

Send a photo or a short video on WhatsApp and we'll tell you what it probably is before we even drive out. The on-site estimate is free.
