Sliding door track repair
The track is the rail the rollers ride on. A bad roller eventually grinds a groove into it, and a dropped chair or a dent from moving furniture leaves a bump the door catches on every time. Putting new rollers on a damaged track wears them out again fast, so we fix the track at the same time.
Signs you need this
- The door catches in the same spot every time
- You can see a dent, a groove or flattened metal on the rail
- The track is pitted or white with corrosion
- New rollers didn't fix the problem
What we do on the visit
- Clean the track down to bare metal
- Straighten dents and smooth worn spots
- Install a stainless steel track cap over worn rails when needed
- Match the rollers to the repaired track

How a repair goes
Send a photo or call
WhatsApp a photo or video of the door, or call. We'll ask a few questions and give you an idea of what's going on.
Free estimate at your home
The technician measures, checks the rollers, track and glass, and gives you the exact price before touching anything.
Repair, usually the same visit
Our van carries common rollers, locks and hardware, so most door repairs are finished on the first trip. Glass is ordered to size.
Questions we get a lot
Do you have to replace the whole frame?
Almost never. A stainless steel cap over the old rail fixes most worn tracks without touching the frame.
How do I keep the track clean?
Vacuum it once a week, especially if the door opens to the pool or yard, and wipe it with a damp cloth. No oil.
